2014 Hyundai Genesis Interior Caught Undisguised

Next-generation Hyundai Genesis has been caught for the first time with undisguised interior testing in U.S.

The new Genesis will continue to use the rear-wheel drive architecture, though an optional AWD system is also expected.

The styling will be sleeker and sportier with a more upscale design. Engine lineup is expected to carry over from the current model with minor changes, meaning both the 3.8-litre V6 and 5.0-litre V8 will be offered. Both engines will be linked to an 8-speed automatic transmission, while a brand new 10-speed automatic is also rumoured.

Current generation Genesis saloon is not sold in Europe and the biggest model here is the i40. Back in 2011, Hyundai’s European boss, Allan Rushforth, hinted the next-generation Genesis should be engineered for Europe, to offer an alternative to BMW 5 Series and Mercedes E-Class.

Stay tuned for more details!
