2014 BMW X5 Spied Less Disguised Testing Near The Arctic Circle

We have seen the next-generation BMW X5 (F15) testing at various locations with different disguises. Couple of weeks ago we even showed you undisguised images of the the third-generation X5 thanks to a scale model dealer, Diecast Empire, who posted the 2013 Catalog to their Facebook page, which also had the new X5 scale model in it.

Here we have the most revealing spy shots of the new BMW X5 testing near the arctic circle with most of the camouflage gone.

We get a much better look at the front and rear lights, side profile and windows. The rear side windows are much bigger than on the outgoing model.

Engine options will include a wide range of diesel and petrol units. X5 M is also in development already and a hybrid variant with a 3.0-litre twin-turbo and an electric motor generating a combined output of around 330bhp is also coming.

Reportedly a long wheelbase X5 is also planned with a third row seat.
