Last time we talked about the next BMW X5, was earlier this month when a prototype broke down on the Nürburgring.
This time we have pictures of the next X5 M. Heavily disguised it is hard to tell at first is this really the new X5 M, but the bigger brakes and the usual M style quad exhaust outlets give it away. Also the front is more heavily disguised than other X5 prototypes, hiding a different more aggressive bumper.
Current X5 M is an amazing SUV. Powered by a 547bhp 4.4-litre twin turbo V8 it does 0-62mph in 4.7sec and has a limited top speed of 155mph. New X5 is reportedly up to 200kg lighter so even with the same engine, the new X5 M will be a real beast.
