2014 BMW X5 M spied less disguised

The new third generation BMW X5 was revealed end of May, boasting and evolutionary design and a range of new features, along with improved engine range.

Top of the range model is the XDrive50i with 450 hp, good for a 0-62mph time in 5.0 seconds. A hot M variant is still in development and here we have the latest on most revealing spy shots.

The current outgoing X5 M packs already an impressive 555 horsepower from a twin-turbo 4.4-litre V8, enabling it to hit 0-60mph in 4.0 seconds. It is not know yet will the new model produce more power or not, but thanks to weight savings the new model is surely to have an improved fuel economy and performance numbers.

Our new pics reveal most of the new X5 M with his aggressive looking front, bigger blue brakes and the typical M exhaust tips at the rear. In addition to more power, sportier exterior the M model also gets a modified suspension and a revised interior with typical M elements.
