2014 BMW X5 M Caught Testing on the Nürburgring

Less than a month ago the next-generation BMW X5 M (F15) was spied in South Germany.

This time the prototype was pictured doing laps on the extreme Nürburgring Nordschleife.

Still heavily disguised, it reveals the typical quad M exhaust pipes at the rear and blue brake calipers. The front is more heavily disguised than other X5 prototypes, hiding a more aggressive bumper with bigger air intakes.

New BMW X5 is reportedly up to 200kg lighter and the next M version is rumoured to use the updated(S63Tu engine) 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 also found in the new M5/M6 with around 580bhp.
