2014 BMW i8 interior spied for the first time

has been testing on public roads since early 2011, when we saw first prototypes cold weather testing in Northern Sweden.

Here we have fresh shots of the i8 exterior and also first pictures of its futuristic interior. Heavily covered to hide the final look we can spot the electric speedo, new steering wheel design, new door handles and also single air vent pointed to the driver.

The new 2+2 hybrid sportscar with “butterfly” doors will use a 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine and electric hybrid drivetrain. Combined power output is reportedly close to 400 horsepower.

0-62mph is expected to come in 4.8 seconds with a fuel economy around 100mpg.
