2014 BMW i3 - latest and most revealing spy shots

Here we have a new set of spy shots of a less disguised BMW i3. You can see the undisguised i3 prototype front from a photo shoot in the US. Then we have also cold weather testing photos from Scandinavia, showing new light graphics and finally photos from South Germany showing the front bumper less disguised and the whole side window line together with the roof with no camouflage at all.

BMW will introduce the production version of the i3 in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The i3 will be available with a range-extending engine, expected to have range up to 186 miles and 80 miles on purely electric power. The range-extender is very likely a two-cylinder petrol unit from the company’s Motorrad division.
