2014 BMW 4 Series Convertible spied with the top down

The upcoming BMW 4 Series Convertible has been caught again. This time testing in the Alps with the top down on their way to Italy.

These are the first and best pictures yet of the open top 4 Series with an M-Sport Package and the top down.

From launch two variants will be offered a 428i and 435i. Hot M4 Convertible will follow soon.

The 428i uses a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with 240 horsepower and 255 lb ft of torque, while the 435i has 300 horsepower and 300 lb ft of torque from a turbocharged 3.0-litre straight-six.

Rear-wheel drive and a six-speed manual are standard, with all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic optional.

World debut is most likely in September at the Frankfurt Auto Show.
