2014 BMW 4 Series Convertible caught almost undisguised

The new BMW 4 Series Convertible has been caught almost undisguised in different colours and packages at the Nürburgring test centre.

You can see the Convertible also next to the Coupe and the different roof shapes.

Internally known as F33, the 4 Series Convertible has a bit different roof line due to its retractable folding hardtop.

Just as the coupe, the base model will have rear-wheel drive and six-speed manual, while all-wheel-drive and eight-speed automatic are optional.

From launch 428i and 435i will be offered with the high-performance M4 Convertible to follow later.

The 428i uses a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with 240 horsepower and 255 lb ft of torque, whike the 435i packs 300 horsepower and 300 lb ft of torque from a turbocharged 3.0-litre straight-six.
