2014 BMW 2 Series Active Tourer spied winter testing

We saw the upcoming BMW 2 Series Active Tourer completely undisguised last month, when it was caught during video shooting in U.S.

Testing still continues and here we have spy shots from Sweden showing the all-new BMW 2 Series Active Tourer in heavy snow and extreme cold.

The prototype pictured here does not reveal at first anything new compared to the undisguised model we saw last month, but when you look at the rear view images you get to see a new rear wiper which is hiding underneath the rear spoiler. Very clean look. Well done!

The BMW 2 Series Active Tourer is the first front-wheel-drive model in the BMW lineup, riding on the new UKL platform and will very likely get the new 1.5-litre 3-cylinder TwinPower petrol and diesel engines that recently debuted in the new MINI hatch.

As the 2 Series Active Tourer did not debut in Detroit we are quite positive it will make its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
