2013 Skoda Octavia Spied For The First Time

Here we have the first spy shots of the next-generation Skoda Octavia, that is rumoured to debut already next month with sales starting in early 2013.

The design of the new Octavia looks very similar to the new Skoda Rapid, though it is bigger and will be positioned more upmarket than the current model.

New Octavia is the first Skoda to use Volkswagen’s flexible new MQB modular platform, after the Audi A3, Seat Leon and new seventh-generation Volkswagen Golf. This means that the new Octavia will be lighter despite stretched length compared to the outgoing model.
