2013 Porsche 911 Targa Prototype Spy Shots
Porsche ended the production of the true 911 Targa back in 1995. Looks like they are bringing the iconic Targa variant back as we can see from these latest spy photos. The 911 Targa is disguised as a Cabrio, but at closer look you can see the car has a removable center section. Despite the heavy camouflage we would love to believe that the rear window is also removable.
The new 911 Targa is expected to debut in 2013 with a fixed roll bar and a huge glass structure. It is hard to say at this point will the new 911 Targa offer both rear- and all-wheel-drive options. The base 911 Targa is expected to use the 350bhp 3.4 litre engine, and the Targa S a more powerful 3.8 litre unit with 400bhp.
New modern day Porsche 911 Targa is expected to debut later this year or in early 2013.
