MINI is hard working on its seventh model, the Paceman. Just like rest of the MINI range, the Paceman will be offered in the sporty S and John Cooper Works trims. Here we have the Paceman S prototype from the Nürburgring race track showing a new front bumper, that looks identical to the one found on Countryman S.
Just like the Countryman S, the Paceman S will use the 181bhp turbocharged 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine. We can also expect same performance figures, meaning 0-60mph in around 7.6sec and a top speed of 128mph.
Updates compared to the standard Paceman prototype also include bigger wheels, unique grille and dual exhaust tips.
MINI Paceman is expected to debut at the 2012 Paris Auto Show in September.
