2013 Audi RS5 Cabriolet Revealed [VIDEO]

New Audi RS5 Cabriolet has been revealed ahead of its public debut later this month at the Paris Motor Show.

The Audi RS5 Cabriolet is powered by the same naturally-aspirated 444bhp 4.2-litre V8 as the coupe. 0-62mph comes in 4.9 seconds, 0.4 seconds slower than the RS5 coupe. Top speed is limited to 155mph, that can be raised to 174mph. Power is sent to the road via quattro all-wheel drive and the familiar seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission.

The soft-top opens and closes automatically in 15 seconds and 17 seconds respectively at speeds of up to 31mph.

Compared to the standard A5 Cabriolet, the RS5 variant sits 20mm lower, comes with xenon and LED headlights, 19-inch wheels, flared wheelarches, new front and rear bumpers, optional ceramic brakes, matte aluminum trim, a rear diffuser, a dual exhaust system and a carbon fiber rear spoiler.

The new RS5 Cabriolet opens for UK ordering in late 2012, and deliveries are expected to begin next spring. In Germany the RS5 Cabriolet has a base price of 88,500 euros (£70,200) UK-specific pricing will be announced nearer to the start of customer ordering later this year.
