2013 Alfa Romeo 4C Spied in Italy
Alfa Romeo 4C concept debuted back in 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show.
Here we have our very first spy shots of the production version, that was caught testing in Italy. The car looks very similar to the concept, though it is hard to tell how it differs from the concept yet because of the disguise.
The Alfa 4C is approximately 4 metres long and has a wheelbase of less than 2.4 metres. The concept weighed less than 850kg, thanks to extensive use of carbon and aluminium.
Power is expected to come from a 4 cylinder 1.8 litre engine with around 200bhp. If the production version keeps the concept’s weight, the 4C should accelerate from 0-62mph in under 5 seconds.
The new Alfa Romeo 4C will be launched in 2013 as a Coupe and we might even see a Cabrio, that is expected to follow a year later.
