2012 Porsche Boxster Spied Testing At The Nürburgring

Yesterday the next-generation Porsche 911 Coupe and Cabriolet were spotted testing on the notorious Nürburgring race track. Today we are bringing you photos of the next-generation Boxster from the ‘Ring, that we saw last time cold weather testing in snowy Sweden.

The prototype wears little disguise to hide the final look, but we can still see the new triangular LED taillights and also the new rear spoiler in action.

Current 2.9- and 3.4-litre flat six-cylinder engines will most likely carry over with some changes to horsepower and fuel efficiency. The Boxster also gets a new 2.5 litre four-cylinder, that in turbocharged configuration is rumored to produce up to 360bhp.
