Rumors about an “Allroad” version of the new Peugeot 508 SW have been circulating for a while now. Here we have proof that Peugeot is working on a high riding all-wheel-drive version of the 508 SW. The prototype was spotted testing earlier today in Sweden, and will most likely be called either 508 SW Allroad or Outdoor.
The high riding 508 Allroad is the second model to be equipped with the Hybrid4 technology. The Hybrid4 system combines a 163bhp 2.0 litre HDi with a 37bhp electric motor for a total output of 200bhp sent to all four wheels.
According to our sources the 508 SW Allroad will make its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March. Sales are scheduled for the Q4 at a price around £34,000. Stay tuned for more details!
