2012 Mercedes-Benz A-Class design sketch

2012 Mercedes-Benz A-Class design sketchThe first sketch of the Mercedes-Benz A-Class has leaked to the web thanks to Autoblog.it. The new redesigned hatch looks to be a big improvement over the current model if the production model is anything close to this sketch.

The new A-Class looks sleeker and much sportier than the outgoing model. From the sketch we can also see a single bar grille, panoramic roof and sweptback headlights.

Under the bonnet will be a choice of different petrol and diesel units. Rumor is that top of the range AMG variant will use a turbocharged 2.0 litre petrol unit that produces 320bhp. Power would be sent to ll four wheel via six-speed double-clutch transmission.

The 2012 Mercedes-Benz A-Class is expected to debut at Auto Shanghai next month.
