The 2011 Jaguar XF facelift has been spotted testing in Northern Sweden with a disguised front and rear end. Under the camouflage, the prototype features a new front fascia, sleeker and narrower headlights inspired from the new XJ and a larger grille. Changes to the back include revised taillights and very likely a modified bumper as well.
Engine options will most likely carryover with minor changes to improve fuel efficiency and performance. While nothing is official, the facelifted 2011 XF is rumored to pack a Ford-derived new 2.2 litre turbodiesel, that is already in use in small Land Rovers.
This small diesel engine produces 148bhp and 187bhp in the new Range Rover Evoque, which we assume won’t change for the XF facelift.
The sales of the 2011 Jaguar XF facelift are expected to start this summer.
